By accessing or using Storyowl (the mobile app, website at storyowl.app, and related services — the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Storyowl lets you create personalized storybooks for kids using AI, including character customization, photo integration, digital previews, and print ordering.

3. Accounts

You may need an account (phone OTP, Google, Truecaller, or email) to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. User content

You retain ownership of photos and text you submit. You grant Storyowl a non-exclusive license to use that content solely to provide the Service (generate stories, fulfill orders, support). You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or inappropriate for a children's product.

5. Orders, payments & shipping

Prices, taxes, and shipping are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers. Physical book delivery times are estimates. Contact support for order issues or refund requests under our applicable refund practices.

6. Intellectual property

The Storyowl name, branding, software, templates, and platform are owned by us or our licensors. Generated books are for your personal or gifting use unless we agree otherwise in writing. Do not reverse engineer or resell the Service without permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

Stories and images are generated automatically and may contain mistakes or unexpected results. You should review content before sharing or printing. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storyowl and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or harmful conduct.

11. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
